Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of our chocolate shop. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, handle transactions, and support the business with financial insights to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily sales from all channels (in-store, website, WhatsApp, and calls)
Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems regularly
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and issue invoices to customers
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and daily transactions
Reconcile cash, POS, and bank transactions
Track and manage inventory costs (chocolates, packaging, materials)
Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
Assist in VAT calculation and filing (as per UAE regulations)
Coordinate with the delivery and sales team to verify order payments
Support payroll processing and expense tracking
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (retail experience is an advantage)
Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
